There are so many variables that you can control to change how the game goes, and blaming a state of mind that you force yourself into believing is not only lazy, but shows lack of willingness to get better. Maybe you should have waited for your jungler to get closer before engaging the enemy. Maybe you were not coming in for a gank at the right time. "Man these teammates are putting me on tilt," is also a poor excuse. Go into a custom game and practice with awkward champs to get used to CS so it becomes muscle memory. You cannot CS because you don't have enough practice at it. "Ugh I'm on tilt and can't CS," is an awful excuse. You're making bad plays and need to look into why those plays were bad and how you can get better. Some one did not nudge you too hard and now you're unable to play. Do not blame bad plays on some magical luck force. You are not "on tilt", you are rushing decisions and blaming poor decisions on "being tilted". You will not become a better player by blaming "bad luck" or "bad games" any more than the common scapegoat from the first few seasons of bad teammates.

This bothers me as a player for a simple fact: too many people are blaming "being tilted" for poor play and poor decisions, deciding that if they just win one game the "tilt" will go away and they will magically perform better. Likewise, I hear many questions similar to "why am I on tilt" or "how can I get off a tilt or prevent being tilted". On Tilt - Having a streak of bad games or bad luck that causes you as a player to do poorly.Taken off guard by this new phrase, I looked at what tilted means to the general playerbase and have come to understand this definition Too often since returning to League have I heard the phrase "I'm on tilt" or "I'm tilted".
