The bathroom was filthy and the floors were dirty. There was rust so thick on top of the lamps between the beds. I realize it is a beach hotel but it is not maintained at all. We had to park outside the hotel parking and walk in. The parking garage was 3 floors but there was not one available spot open. The check-in process was so disappointing because of the rude staff. We had a handicapped person in our party and she couldn’t even get to the lobby because there were steps and no ramp. From the moment we arrived until we left we had nothing but problems. The hotel price was good for the quality of the hotel. The pools were cleaned daily and maintenance was seen working. Housekeeping came in daily getting us fresh towels and wash clothes. The staff at the front desk were nice and welcoming. The amenities of the bowling alley and arcade on the 6th floor was great. Besides the rudeness of that one staff everything else was great. In talking to other guests at the hotel they also had complaints about the attitude of the same lady at Vista 9. We asked to be moved away from the window and was laughed at and told no, once seated you must stay at that table even though the restaurant was fairly empty. We turned our seats to the side of the sun and was told we could not do that. The incident occurred when we were seated by the window and being there are no blinds the sun shined directly in our eyes. We ran across a lady at the restaurant on the 9th floor called Vista 9 who was rude. Captains Quarters was very clean and most of the staff were friendly.
